Hunt Family Luau '08

(This is one of the Hibiscus plants in our backyard. They are so beautiful!)

Our annual Hunt Family Luau took place on Saturday, August 16th, 2008. We invited all of my dad's family, and really close friends. We had a blast! Lots of really good Samoan food as well!!!

These are some of my cousins: Ituau, Kristen, and Lousia.

Auntie Dawn and her son Cedric and new wife Lilly.

Leata and her husband Steven. They have an 11 month old daughter (not in picture) and one more on the way in a few weeks!

Just of bunch of them getting together before we start our backyard movie.

Serafi who is married to Gill (right). And Tui's new father-in-law.

Crazy Uncle Barry, always stirring up trouble. This time he round up a couple of wild girls: Trinjae and Shayna.

Grandma Hunt, Aunti Rita, and Dawn

Dad serenading the night away.
This year's luau was a lot of fun because we had newly weds there, as well as the Auva'a family that moved back from New Zealand. Every year, my dad looks forward to this day because it's a day that he can spend on his family. It's his way of showing his love and letting them know that even though we may have differences of opinons, we still are family who loves eachother.
Thanks to all who came and participated. I know it means a lot to Grandma Hunt to see her kids and grandkids get together. Can't wait till next year!
